From what I'm reading both Toews and Kane went to Bowman and asked about getting Saad back. And losing Saad hurt Toews' productivity. It stands to reason that Kane's productivity will now take a step back, but I'm sure they'll figure something out.
So how does this look for Columbus? I guess they're getting the more talented player with the higher potential ceiling, but for a cap-strapped team to take on a bridge deal that's already worth $6 million per, I dunno...
As for Hjalmarsson, I don't even know who plays defense for the Hawks outside of Keith and Seabrook. Is Connor Murphy any good?
