The 28th pick, a second (or later) rounder through almost all of the 20th century, didn't have much to show for the 1990s, but has been surprisingly resilient in the 2000s. Corey freaking Perry slipped down this far. Man, that 2003 draft was good. With guys like Foligno, Niskanen and perhaps Tikhonov on the up-and-up, it continues to look like an underrated place to draft.
