Merci. With a steady influx of new players I hope to be inspired title-wise.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Habs this season. It mostly hinges on Price, but the future belongs to Kotkaniemi, Suzuki and Poehling. Just a matter of when. Hope it's soon.

I don't dislike their defence, but you could see how things might go sideways in a hurry. Not a lot of sure bets on the left side in Mete, Chiarot, Kulak, Reilly, but it might be enough. Fleury might be solid behind Weber and Petry. He'll be eased in.

Balanced lines tonight:

Tatar-Danault-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Domi-Suzuki
Drouin-Kotkaniemi-Armia
Byron-Thompson-Weal

I like.

Three seconds and a third...

This team has depth.

And pole boy and Jake the snake as depth players...

Rad team.

Looks like Johnny Dee's trip to Halifax in the spring reminded him of how he worked and felt when he dominated and won the cup himself.

Lots of smart hockey tonight.

Perhaps he's the next "Mr. October"

Which would be Savage BS.

meh...

Price with 40 saves but it wasn't enough: a shootout loss. This was a fast paced game. Habs will win those most nights but they have to get tighter in their own end.

Kotkaniemi and Drouin together looked good.

That Kotka goal was a thing of beauty.

He's got that extra second of patience that separates the good players from the great ones.
