Pull the trigger Brad! Not sure how Troy survived the first round...but round 2 is here.

4.5 owed to him for 2 more years......I believe the buyout savings is 1.5 with a hit of 6 Mil.

Here is the capfriendly buyout comp:

I think the Habs really wanted him at the time. Maybe even offered more money/term.

They're in a don't-call-it-a-rebuild and actually have some RW depth for a change, but they could still be interested if the price is right.

You can't right every wrong but I will not miss this guy coming out on the PP for Pete's sake! I would assume Michael Stone is on the bubble as well. Although not a buyout he probably has a short leash. I don't expect Bennett to last the year either.

Awesome!

I can almost feel bad for Troy at this point. While I didn't like anything about him on this team he's still a human being. Just because he's taken the money offered to him and not entirely delivered....isn't anything out of the norm in this day and age. Too bad we didn't hold our elected officials to this type of scrutiny!!!!!!! Continued success in life Mr. Brouwer.

Brouwer picks Miami in the end. I don't blame him.
