I listen to this most mornings until Jim Rome comes on at 10. I've learned things about Yeti coolers, 2nd Breakfast, way more about Rhett Warrener then I ever wanted to know, Betting, Eric Francis Pizza Pig out, Booze, traffic on the shaganappi and deerfoot trails sucks, Jay is bitchy in the morning, vacations, Boston Pizza, Goats, Tom Brady's awkward interview about Floyd Mayweather, fat people, Clean it up, Rob Ray and various other life lessons. I enjoy it because these guys usually keep it pretty real with the Flames and they always make me laugh. A great morning show until Jim Rome comes on. Sadly the morning show has gotten a little dull since Pinder left. If Rhett isn't there I don't listen at all. But hey......the Flames are doing well even if the morning show is flagging! |

If you told me 20 years ago that I would be listening to Eric Francis on the morning show and actually enjoying it I would have probably sworn at you. Over the years I've softened to Francis...and he has figured it out....so I guess there it is. |

Bravo Pinder for calling out EF on his Gaudreau clobbering! EF does have a point with the lip service MT was throwing out there...and no one is blaming MT. But I still think this team can function with Johnny on the team. |

They've always treated Johnny as the exception rather than the rule. They have this focus on big/tough guys and then Johnny's just over on the side there doin' his thing. Treliving refuses to believe hockey is a skill game. Also, his bold plan having the Flames and Oilers essentially swap declining goaltenders obviously didn't work out. I can't help but think he'll try to clear some cap room if necessary and make a desperation run at Lehner. Lastly, is he gonna actually go out and get a coach, or is he happy with Ward? Ward didn't strike me as a particularly bad coach, but not a particularly good one either. |

Yeesh.....I tried listening to this this morning as Calgary can't figure out how to air preseason games. No thanks. Looks like I am going to have to start listening to older episodes of Flames talk. If the Flames would let me watch preseason games I'd start my own damn morning talk show! Hopefully it gets better once the season starts. |
