The Bruins are apparently interested in 22-year-old defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon, who got to play in one game in the 2014-15 season, and last year’s first-round pick left wing Emile Poirier, who played in six games this past season — recording one point.
Part of the reason the Bruins reportedly are looking at moving Lucic is he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2015-16 season, he’s making $6.5 million during the last year of his current deal.
Other rumors have linked Lucic with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Philadelphia Flyers.
