The 1970s, man. Larry Robinson and Bobby Orr had ridiculous positives, some guys had to be the opposite. Parity didn't exist back then. Sometimes league average players (3rd line) were top liners on bad teams for several years. And the Canadiens could use Rod Langway as a spare part.

The end of a 2 game winning streak ends at the point of a Zach Parise shot in OT. Oh how woeful it was to watch the Flames cling to this one.

Ah, in that case, I imagine nobody will ever touch Charron's record. Rampant free agency makes it too easy to sign with a playoff team as one of the seven teams that most every NHLer now plays for in his final 2-3 years.
