No link yet.

Shocking, very shocking as a matter of fact, but not entirely surprising.

It's Vanek's fault.

I'm not shocked. None of the players said anything out right but I just got a feeling from some of the comments they were making that he's not really respected in the locker room anymore.

Actually, Miller has been pretty amazing (all things considered). What sucks is their play in their own zone and in the neutral zone. Bad turnovers and getting absolutely killed by any type of forechecking. Oh, and the PP sucks ass.

In other words, Miller wasn't carrying the team like he usually does.

He can only do so much. I'm not his biggest cheerleader. But I feel bad for him this year.

My guess? He ends up in Columbus, but we'll see.

This is not a bad team on paper. Logical move. Regier is next.

Kind of sad. Lindy's been here along time and he was one of my favorite players growing up. I actually got a little teary reading this article.

He said he drove from Tim Horton's to Tim Horton's trying to find a winning roll-up the rim cup. And he tried to watch the Toronto game but couldn't get thru it.

So far, it sure doesn't look like Lindy was the problem.

26 years is a huge personal investment. I'm sure he'll always bleed blue and gold and will take a lot of time to move on.

thanks for the link it was a good read

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-trian ... fired-next

Quote:
Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier

Why he’s in trouble: Regier was hired by Buffalo the same summer that Ruff was, and it had become hard to imagine that the pair would ever be broken up. The fact that he had to send Ruff packing is an indication of just how bad the situation has become in Buffalo.

What could save him: At this point, it’s not easy to come up with a good answer. A regular-season turnaround followed by a solid playoff run might do it. So would trading for a unicorn, which at this point seems just about as likely.

How hot is it? Hot. Really hot. Buffalo-abandoned-building-fire hot.

Prediction: Regier is the next GM fired, and the rebuild truly begins in Buffalo.
