Of course Lucic isn't suspended. He has no prior suspensions, therefore he has a clean record. And still does.

Well that about sums it up for me. I had no idea. Can't help but wonder why he wasn't suspended then.

I like Shanahan's assessment that Lucic didn't have time to react. Then why does he lift his stick? Clearly he sees he isn't going to get it, so he lifts his stick- then shoulder. Pretty clearly a check in my book.

I had a feeling this was the case. And proof positive the NHL should completely disregard injuries resulting from these incidents as a criterion for punishment.

They shouldn't suspend Tootoo at all, simply because Lucic wasn't suspended.

Same here, especially given his backstory. But he's simply too much of a gutless puke (yes, it applies here) for me to like.

Glad to see Miller & the Sabres do something about it themselves. Though for protecting their goalie at least 1 will probably get 2 games.

Since this is the "goalie running" thread, Tootoo gets Toogames.

Given the criteria, I guess it's fair, but I kinda hoped it was more.
