Oh God...the dreaded "signing bonus" makes its way to the NHL. I know previous deals had them, but nowhere near the same level as the NFL until now.

WTF is this? This guy is about to turn 30! so it looks like

This is like a Jeff Finger deal! He's raking Buffalo over the coals.

What kind of incentive is this to give him so much money up front and then ten years!! This is the type of contract that just makes me shake my head. Its garbage from a league perspective but good for Erhoff.
