Habs in Buffalo to face the Slugs.

1-0 after one, as the Plexo-AK-Cammalleri line hooks up for the first time in forever.

Carey's in goal, and has a gaudy mask.

Good period by the Habs, which shouldn't be surprising given this is their first relatively full lineup since Markov went down in game one.

Connolly took a puck to the schnoz, left for a bit. Not sure if he's back.

Love watching the Slugs' mobile D moving. Wish the Habs had an active defence.

I'm going to bitch slap Martin the next time I see a 1-4 defense with over 10mins to play in a tight game.

Ugh, up 2 with two minutes to go and the Habs lose in a shootout.

Simply put, the Habs are an 8th place team, and when they challenged for a higher placement, they naturally folded and returned to their destined place in the standings. Can't wait for those two playoff home gates.

Why should the Habs trust themselves when the coach doesn't.

I saw this from Martin in Ottawa and assumed it was because he didn't trust his goalie. Now I wonder if it's something else - a desire to play it safe out of fear of losing. Either/or, his cautious play (vs. defensive play) cost a point tonight by allowing Buffalo's offense to ramp up over the course of 10 minutes.

I feel for Price tonight.
