Lindholm makes too much sense, especially with maybe a Swayman or Ullmark going the other way in a package. Hanifin is also on the block, but that would require an epic blockbuster to make it all work.

Yeah the stickler in this is that Calgary doesn't need goalies. They need to get rid of their own to make way for Dustin Wolf.......and no combo of goalie swaps between the 2 would make sense. There would have to be some 3rd party involved here....perhaps Buffalo could use a Markstrom! There is no one left on Boston to jettison besides Debrusk.......and obviously Gryz is starting to see the writing on the wall next year. Neither of these teams have any cap room so its like for like.

20 Million between CMac and Pasta is tough to swallow.

So to recap...The B's are out of money

20 Million on D between 3 dudes until 2027

10 Million on centers who may or may not be a solution to missing pieces until 2026

8.5 Million in Goal

and a giant 11 Million to Pasta (for the rest of my life) and 6 to Brad until 2025.

If they sign NONE of their UFAs next year (7 Players) that's only relief of 15 Million.

Ouch!

And as suspected Krejci hangs them up. Congrats to Patrice and Krejci for great careers wearing the black and gold. 4 weeks until camp!

I firmly believe there's a clause in the standard Bruins GM contract that says "if there's a Donato available, thou shalt sign him".

So I am looking at Capfriendly....because what else are you supposed to do during the offseason?

And I see this listed in the Debrincat pickup from Ottawa

Going to Ottawa:

*Conditions: Detroit has the option to send their own or Boston's 2024 1st round pick. In the event the Bruins' 2024 1st round selection is a top-10 pick, Boston can retain the pick and transfer their 2025 1st round pick instead. Detroit will then have the option of sending Boston's 2025 unprotected 1st or their own 2024 1st to Ottawa.

I am assuming this is what they sent to Detroit for Bertuzzi. Ouch!

Chiasson PTO. If he plays, he can probably hit 12 goals.

I was trying to read that article on Daily Faceoff but when they called him "hulking" I checked out. Yeah he's 6' 4" 200...but I don't consider that hulking.

The Bruins are going to be looking for any offence driver that plays for virtually free.........if there is a bargain bin to look in or roll back prices.....Cam and Don will be there!

Somebody from Calgary went a little further into exploring a Lindholm to Boston trade a few weeks back......its a great fit for Boston but Calgary certainly can't get much out of the Bruins.

As a Boston fan its a match made in heaven. A responsible, capable, and underrated 2 way center that can score with Pasta.......yes please!

From a Calgary Perspective...its oh at least we got something....thanks for Jake Debrusk I guess. Not to diminish Jake but there is clearly a winner in this one.
