Well, they're getting McAvoy back. Do they even need him?

Rolling! Ulmark has a force field up! Hampus (+20 :woop: ) is the next Bobby Orr!

Krejci pots 2 against a solid Carter Hart (good to see him bounce back this year).

15-2 with a plus 33 goal diff......

1000 Points for Patrice last night. Domination of the lightning even when they attempted to coast in the 3rd.

Great moment for one of the best 2 way players ever.

Linus Ulmark who is having a magical run of things gets injured (RArm) when Cliffy falls on him. No specific timetable or injury update. Enter Swayman.

Quote:
“On everybody, it’s day to day,” Montgomery told reporters after Saturday’s practice at Warrior Ice Arena. “No one has received bad news, which is good. But how quickly they’re going to be back, we don’t know.”

Both Smith and Ullmark left Friday’s thrilling 3-2 overtime win against the Carolina Hurricanes with upper-body injuries. Montgomery noted after the game that Ullmark had full range of motion, but the goalie was a bit concerned because he never had dealt with something like this before.

Gotta be honest, given Ullmark's VERY lengthy injury history I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner.

A shame because when you finally saw him healthy you saw what he could do.

Not even going to approach the social outrage on Edwards taking some jabs at the large male that is Pat Maroon. This current version of society is weak.

Bruins are now 14-0 at home. 20 and 3.....wow. :viking:

Bruins are great, Jack Edwards is not.

That is all.

God damn! Who knew that fans like this existed in Arizona? Must be drunk college kids or Danbury Trasher types.

This video is pretty insane. That lady takes a shot.

This is why I stay home now. Too old for that shit. You wear an opposing Jersey to a barn expect to be ridiculed and harassed to the point of self defense.

Bruins still travel well!

Too bad for Jake Debrusk...not only does he crack his Fibula during the Winter Classic he also picks up a hand injury......already placed on LTIR with a 4-6 week return at best.

Wagner gets brought up....quite honestly I would have rather seen McLaughlin but Chris has been a good soldier over the years so he gets first shot.

The Bruins decide to tea bag the Flyers in an early MLK game 6-0. Carter Hart tried but the B's were too busy celebrating David Krejci's 1000th game (only the 7th player to do it with the Bruins).

Swayman with the shutout.

The Bruins also posted yet another last minute victory against the Leafs. Poor Leafs must see Bruins jerseys in their nightmares. A good rebound game after taking their first regulation loss at home to a motivated and hot Kraken squad.

Also props to Pavel Zacha for finding a home and a 4yr 19 Million extension.

Still Winning....as the Bruins make their way through the Island and tonight the Garden. JGP always manages to get on the board against them.

An outrageous 74 points halfway through. A mind boggling +75 Diff at the half.

Here is a look at some season totals for Goal Diff.

https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/best-g ... hl-history

I am not saying they are going to end up on this list....because clearly those were some of the greatest teams of all time. But they are on their way.

The title of this thread is ironic given how quickly both McAvoy and Marchand beat their original timelines to return from injury by a substantial margin. Obviously the DeBrusk injury doesn't help matters but given the original prognostications, the B's have blown prior expectations out of the water.

Can't argue that this is the best team in hockey by a country western mile.

The confidence and team level on the ice is something to behold. The Sharks never had a chance yesterday and the Bruins operate like a well oiled machine. I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop for a few years now and somehow this happens when every indicator seemed to point to THAT YEAR. Well maybe it is THAT YEAR one more time!

I still think they are susceptible to a flat out speed game (aka Seattle) but this year they have secondary scoring and under Jim Montgomery have really shored up the backend and learned to contain (the levels are there again).

This really is it......because Pasta is due for the vault next year....and he is going to have to take a significant team friendly deal to stick around. Bergeron and Krejci are already on team friendly 1 year deals.

So with the Trade deadline coming up....its Stanley Cup or BUST. I would assume this team may attract some of the older boys looking for a final run at things.

Good game against the Habs on Tuesday. Habs did their best, Bergeron and Pastrnak won it at will late.

Hard fought but tired looking loss to the Lightning last night. No shame in it...Tampa is still a great team.

Scary moment when CMac went hard into the boards near his recently repaired shoulder. He was back in a few shifts so they seemed to have dodged a bullet there.

Is that Jeremy Swayman finding his game again? Good for him!

Jake Debrusk is skating again......after the all-star dog and pony we should see him.

Bruins hitting a bit of a bump in the road. A recent killer lineup of teams (Tampa, Florida, Carolina and then Toronto again) has the Bruins looking at their first losing streak of the season.

I liked seeing Marc McLauglin the other day even though he took a bad penalty. That will happen....Cliffy did that shit for years and Pasta is still prone to turning over the puck.

The B's look tired as an older team will.

While the darlings of the league during the first 2/3 of the season, the Leafs and Hurricanes are only a handful of games behind them. There are plenty of games left for it to go south. However, even if they played .500 hockey the rest of the way they would still be looking at 113 points...that would be good enough for 3rd in the Division.
