This is where franchises moving around gets confusing. Do #s get "unretired" when a franchise moves? How about when a different franchise moves to where the old franchise was and takes on the very same name? Yeesh...this is complicated.

I believe the Coyotes did actually keep Hull's #9 retired until his son wore it for the 10 or so games he played in Phoenix. Pretty sure the Avs have not honored the #s retired by the Nordiques though.

Scored the OT winner against the Sutterkings last night, and also is on pace for a 40+ goal season.

I suppose this can serve as the EK WOOD thread.

I got to go to the Game last week against the Sabres. Kane is ridiculously fast and strong on his skates. To bad he got knocked silly. Another guy that really stood out was Burmistrov he can protect the puck like nobodies business must come from growing up watching Datsyuk.

So there I was checking the health of my many many IR players in the OTP$ league when I see this tidbit next to Evander Kane:

Quote:
LW Evander Kane was asked by the Jets to lie low in the social media world after engaging fans last month over rumors he skipped out on restaurant tabs and suffered his concussion after getting punched out in a nightclub. It has gotten so bad for Kane that an "I Hate Evander Kane" page had sprung up on Facebook and had already attracted 50 members, according to the Winnipeg Sun. Kane also had to remove his personal Facebook page amidst numerous online attacks.

Interesting. :wth: Sounds like he needs some mentoring.
