Yes folks, he's from Manitoba.

Apparently there's no guarantee he'll be able to start the season due to a bum shoulder. Personally I've never been impressed with him, but oh well, the Jets got a player for cheap who might be good for 20 goals if he's healthy.

I'm thinking this might be a reason why the Jets included Danick Paquette in the package.
