I'm going to use this as a dumping ground for fixes/mods/updates to the board. Woo!

Working on making links auto open in a new window. This should be an option in the control panel, not recoding like it currently is.

Also, currently checking out options for a board gallery.

I've noticed that when you click a link it doesn't open a new window. Instead it takes you from the forum. I've replicated it on 2 puters. Ahh I see you are way ahead of me.

Dude there's a Google Bot as a registered User.....looks like that's an admin setting for the board to allow Google to crawl for keyword searches. I guess that's not a big deal eh?

It allows Google to make our posts searchable.

Good idea. I can toss together a shoutbox.

It will be a little more complicated now that this board is moving. Still doable, but it would be kinda sucky.

I vote for simply linking back to is as- or if-needed. Chuck has done a great job here; let's not make his life unnecessarily busy just so we can reminisce about the last year.

Patty's workaround works just fine but it doesn't explain why cookies weren't working (at least it doesn't to me).

First login in then bookmark that page (I bookmarked the "View New Posts" page). That seems to preserve the login...

That is really weird. I don't have that problem (Yet). Do me a favor and check your time zone settings in your user control panel. I don't think that is it but it is worth a shot. I'll keep digging.

Wait, I think that was it... if it still doesn't keep you logged in click the "Delete all board cookies" link at the bottom left of the main page and try again. Stupid thing was sending out bad cookies.

Bad cookies should be punished.
