This game has been rendered meaningless apart from the fact that it is the Swan Song for both Teemu Selanne and Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

So long, Finnish Flash. It's a shame the Hockey Gods saddled you with a shitty coach and bum knee during your time in Colorado.

As for Jiggy, still one of my favorite all-time goalies. Kinda wish he had one more year left in the tank.

Worth looking at again. One of the best sendoffs of an athlete I've ever seen. Actually, one of the best sendoffs for TWO athletes I've ever seen.

It was at the expense of Roy and the Avs but I did get to see Selanne play one of his best games ever live at the Pepsi Center, a game where Marleau and the Sharks completely dominated. One of the few times Selanne was truly Selanne while in a SJ uniform. Dude was absolutely FLYING out there...not sure I've seen anyone on skates faster in any game since.
