Look, I get that Verbeek wants to spell Leo Carlsson now and again to lighten the workload and avoid rookie burnout, but to scratch him against the Jackets on Frozen Frenzy night when fans might actually pay attention to these two clubs (Carlsson vs. Fantilli) is just asinine.


Everything I've read about Verbeek is that he's a pest for the sake of being a pest. I'm already tired of his shtick.

Verbeek was always all about annoying everyone around him. He was the little ball of hate long before Marchand was around.

The Leo-less Ducks beat the Fantilli-led (who scored his first NHL goal last night I believe) in OT.

Trouble already brewing between Cro and Zegras. He was benched for a good chunk of the third period.

Nice. I'm still a big Zegras fan. It will be interesting

Mackenzie Weegar tumbled into Leo Carlsson's leg the other night, lucky for the Ducks it wasn't season-ending but he'll be out for a while.

I gotta be honest, I don't know what the Ducks are waiting for. They should be dynamiting this one to the ground, get rid of everyone who isn't Carlsson, McTavish, Mintyukov, Dostal (maybe), Terry, Drysdale, and Zegras. And really, they might just be able to part with one of Zegras or McTavish to upgrade elsewhere.
