This one has been a bit strange so soon after the last ones but it has been around Christmas and back where it belongs.

As is in a different thread Conor Bedard is tearing up the record books.

Semifinals saw a weird game between Czechia and Sweden with the Czechs just kind of hanging around and scoring with 30 something seconds left. They went to OT got some key saves and ended up winning it to advance.

Pending the Bedard Vs the USA game here shortly.

That was a hell of a game and way closer than what the score showed. Great game by the US, but Milic really took the spot light.

Tough on the 2 called back goals.

Yeah, Milic was great. Weird to see 2 overturned goals in a single game, but those are the breaks. First one- I'm not entirely sure would be overturned more than 50% of the time. Second one, as much as well all say to play until the whistle, you can't just keep pitchforking the goalie until you get a goal or pummeled...

Best of luck to Canada.

Followed along online. We all knew USA would have to play a near-perfect game to beat the Canadians, and for two periods, they damn well did. Unfortunately for a good 20 minutes there they played like absolute shit, and Canada made them pay for it. The disallowed goals were unfortunate but shit happens.

More Kenzie Lalonde please.

It’s probably inappropriate for me to remark on this but…has Duthie had some work done?

Well that was harder than need be. I can't lie...I was rooting for Czech once they tied it up and went to OT. But Canada gets it done. NO MORE SUMMER WJCs!
