No problem whatsoever with the medal toss. We expect a bunch of teenage boys to get fired up for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and leave it all on the ice and then expect them to be all calm and composed after suffering a soul-crushing loss? Keep in mind Lias Andersson also had to deal with a similar result at the U17s.

It's his medal, he can do what he wants. And as Fogg says if he had been unwilling to shake hands or refused to accept the medal in the first place then I'd be a little annoyed with him.

If I was a Rangers fan (and I still kinda am) I'm pumped to see this kid in the pros. He don't like to lose.

The one thing I'd add is that Patrick O'Sullivan, when talking about the Americans going for bronze said that he's glad in hindsight he held onto his medals (finished bronze twice) even though at the time he didn't care for them. Andersson may change his tune later, he may not. Either way, it doesn't concern me in the slightest.

Apparently he got it back. I'm not buying any excuses for his action - totally inappropriate.

Yeah, and when asked if he appreciated getting it back he said "No."

Who said anything about excuses? He doesn't need one. I suppose we'll see if he ends up being a player in the NHL and how he conducts himself there. I think the Rangers are gonna love him and Chytil.

And for the record it's fine to criticize him, but the all-out dogpiling happening in social media is irking me.

It's nice to see they're back. Zadina is going to be quite a player.
