Canada wins! I saw the first period and then the 3rd. Missed the fun in the second. Looked like a super quick game and really physical.

Why would you do that? It's freaking kids, they don't know how to protect leads and emotions rule them.

Russia scored like 3 goals in 5 minutes and then it was hang on to your life for the rest of the game.

That was a spectacular game.

Barbashev is a draft pick of the Blues? Their Russian scout is good.

He plays in the Q. I wanted the Habs to draft him, but I concede that Scherbak has superior high-end skill.

Unfortunately being old dictates I make a decision on a time to retire. Looks like I made a mistake. Overall I enjoyed the WJCs as I do every year. Its synonymous with Christmas in my book. On the recommendations here I will go back and watch it on demand.

Oh here it is.

Max Domi refused to play for Doug Gilmour when Kingston drafted him & forced a trade to London. Is he a good character guy?

Seem to remember Domi threatening Kingston that if they didn't move him he'd go play in the NCAA. Yikes.

Can only imagine the character assassination if Phil Kessel (an American!) had done that.
