Smart move for the Q. Boisbriand might be off-island but Lavalois and West Islanders will have an easier time getting to it, as well as Blainville's exploding population. There's no reason to have a team on-island, but with the North now repped and maybe the South Shore coming in (Longueuil? Chateauguay?), the Q will have the Montreal base they've always wanted, but capitalizing on the rapidly expanding sprawl. Talks of a Dorval team were mostly hot air, but I wonder if Vaudreuil out West might not come into play at some point.

Also, go ask the Alouettes how the shoddy conditions of the South Shore bridges are affecting their bottom line this year.
