They just put it on their Social section. And I only noticed because of the hits that were coming. It's quite significant for a little site like mine.

I forwarded my story to the hockey group for SB Nation, and it got linked on several sites and the main site. NHL.com probably saw it on there and decided to put it on there.

Slow NHL news days = goldmine for Puck Worlds features. By far the busiest my little site has been to date, way more so than during the Worlds even.

That was fast. European Hockey for Dummies, thanks to the NHL.com link, is now my most viewed story ever, ahead of the TPS Turku one which ruled yesterday. I can only hope that my Czech Extraliga article from today gets a huge boost 24 hours after it went up as well.

The NHL.com era is sadly over, but it looks like Habs Inside/Out has linked to it today. That should help prevent a severe drop off.

It is addicting looking at where your visitors are coming from. Yesterday, I got hits from Liechtenstein, Uganda, Jordan, and Alexandria, Egypt. I prefer to think that someone was surfing the web at the Bibliotheca Alexandria and amongst all that huge collection of literature checked out some Elitserien hilites.
