Erik Haula · $2,750,000

Chase Priskie · $0 (AHL/JR)
Eetu Luostarinen · $0 (AHL/JR)

Well here's the transaction history for Marleau...

https://www.capfriendly.com/transaction ... ck-marleau

I guess he hasn't garnered a lot of picks. But the salary seems to be the kicker.

The last time...from Toronto.

2020 6th round pick (CAR)

Now a year later its a 3rd..........

Carolina fans seem gung ho about the upside of Wallmark, so Florida might do alright adding depth.

Trocheck is a nice add for Raleigh, though. At a good price, too.

Reportedly Andrew Ladd going the other way. Not sure what to make of that. Ladd's contract is slightly more palatable but a MUCH worse player.

We kept hearing the Canucks don’t have cap issues, all season long. Even the team said so. And yet in the end, it prevents them from making a couple rumored moves that probably weren’t smart. Suppose there are different ways to arrive at the final destination even if that destination was unintentional.

The plan is for Connor and Andreas to skate so fast that nobody notices all the suspendible actions Zack commits.

What the hell are the Ducks even doing? They ship out grinders out and then...trade for grinders.

it's the "you start with the grit and then fill in the periphery with some skill" rebuild plan.

1st year I've chosen Sportsnet over TSN. I like this analysis better...the last time I turned back to TSN trade centre they were talking about the raptors on the hockey panel....hell no! :viking:

It's not a proper NHL Deadline Day without HF Boards going down.

Calgary gets Forbort and possibly Gustafsson. Shoring up the defence.

Or the Leafs being expected to turn water into wine and doing next to nothing. Still Barrie I suppose.

Conor Sheary goes back to Pittsburgh, along with Evan Rodrigues. Kahun to Buffalo.
