There are some really bad contracts out there right now. Clearly I think we know which one is currently the worst in the league.

Huberdeau making 10.5 until 2028-029.....6 goals 15 assists 21 points for a -14 in 41 games.

However right behind him is

Pierre Luc Dubois making 8.5 until 2028-2029....7 Gs 9 Assists....16 points a -9 in 37 games.

That's terrible!

The Blue jackets aren't exactly getting bang for their buck either....

Johnny Hockey

9.75 Million until 2028-2029....7 goals 18 assists 25 points and a -20 in 42 games......ouch! :steamingpileofcrap: :steamingpileofcrap: :steamingpileofcrap:

I wonder if Hubie and Johnny could use a change of scenery? I know it's early, but their drops seem almost too extreme to be just a matter of decline.

As for PLD, he's the 3C, now the 4C, and I think he's a big role or bust kind of guy. He's probably not working too hard.

The guy PLD was traded for still has two more years at $8.7 as well.

Only two more years for Bob after this.

3 more years of Risto!

Toronto fans are already bitching about Nylander's new deal and it hasn't even kicked in!

Speaking of Toronto extensions that haven't kicked in yet...what do y'all think is gonna happen with Sheldon Keefe?

Keefe the obvious scapegoat. He's not Treliving's guy. Could you imagine Darryl Sutter coaching the Leafs?

His deployment choices have been quite odd though. Dangle has been absolutely RIPPING him in his last few YouTube videos. For instance, throwing John Tavares out there when your team is trailing and in desperate need for a goal is kinda strange given that he's really not all that effective anymore at even strength.

Of course Keefe doesn't have a lot of options given the complete lack of depth up front and the fact the Leafs just don't look good at all on the back end and in goal. I certainly don't want to see a good coach get fired but I think it's inching that way.
