Lately there has been a trend to add a Woooo or a WoooWoooo or a Yahhhoooo or a howl...or whatever when the goal is announced.

obviously I am fairly privy to the Bruins goal song

Me personally I like the Stars f'n metal shit when they score and no damn wooing.

I do like the Super Mario 1UP sound when the Avs come out of the box so that is sweet.

Not sure of anyone else's. I don't like the Yahoooo the Flames use.

What about you guys?

I think the Isles "yes yes yes" thing is annoying, especially because the fans can't seem to get in sync on it. I do love the fog horn though, as it's rather nautical.

I have to admit- I really like the Rangers goal song and sing-along. I just hate hearing it because it means the pricks scored.

I can't remember if this was a joke or real article I read recently, but someone said a team is going to start using personalized goal songs- like walk up songs for baseball players. I think that would be cool, but I'm sure "traditionalists" will shit their grampers over it. Heaven forbid someone use rap or something. It was probably a joke article now that I think about it. But if it ever happens- I'd love to see Clutterbuck use Dennis Leary's "Asshole" as his song.

Yes, absolutely LOVE the Avs' PK Mario Bros. sound. Don't care for their goal song though. It's about as generic as it comes. The one time they actually went out and paid for a unique goal song, it was a Steve Aoki tune that I'm not familiar with and everyone hated it. It was also the season where they set a modern-day NHL record for suckiness, so the running gag that year was that us fans didn't have to hear it very often.

The Stars in-arena crew might be the best in hockey. They're always making headlines for their clever quips and what not.

I really wish the Hawks would retire "Chelsea Dagger." it was fun when they were good, now it's kinda sad.

As far as actual "goal" horns, the Avs used to use an actual Avalanche siren but I read somewhere that it's illegal or something to use it in such a manner, but I think they just got jealous of the bullhorns every other arena uses, so they switched to that.
