I used to lurk on hfboards but grew tired. I just went over and had 5 full screen ads pop up in less than a minute on my work laptop that doesn't have adblocker. Yeah.

They've got a wide user base. They should be able to do what we did here when several of us took over different parts of running the place. That should be easy for them.

Now they got a full-page pop-up ad to greet you when you log in. Don't think I'm gonna be frequenting that place.

They migrated the boards to a new home yesterday and the new look is a bit jarring.

Now you can "like" posts.

They've been doing that over at Calgarypuck for awhile. I guess its a thanks or a like.....I suppose its a way of getting on board with what someone is saying without actually saying anything............. :psyduck:

Agree hammer. Hockey's future was great when it independant. Still pretty good when it went corporate but now... in the words of 45... "Sad."
