An interesting argument that in that fabled 1999 draft, Alexandre Burrows would have gone somewhere in the top 10 and Henrik Zetterberg would have gone first overall...hindsight being what it is of course.

I like the article, though not sure about the basic premise. If anything it looks like there are a lot of free agents without a home thanks to the CBA who would have been signed by now in the old NHL. Would Burrows really have never gotten even a sniff at the NHL had the old way of doing things stayed in place?
