Nate missing from practice today. Seems to be nursing an injury (knee?). He hasn't been great this Olympics and seems to be struggling to find a groove. Hope he can turn it up if he plays in the QF.

My God, some absolute SHIT performances by NHL goalies so far. Filip Gustavsson nearly blows it for the Swedes against Italy (look I get they're the host nation but COME ON) letting in two goals on four shots, while the guy on the other end initially let in two goals on 28 shots!

Most rinks have pretty good programs to encourage new curlers to join. It would typically be one night a week, you and your wife would join a mixed league and hopefully be paired with an experienced couple who introduce novices to the game every season. Its a really social, laid back sport.

Haven't watched a single short track race, I'm assuming we have no one favored to win any of the events so they've effectively shelved it for prime time.
