Lumbus 2-3 out the gate, not TOO bad, but already Rick Bowness is in midseason forum. After calling out some players in camp for being out of shape.

Look, he's right, they played like shit and they got ...

Oh, there are Reddit threads about it.

Yeah, you ain't alone in thinking that's annoying. I don't understand why commercial breaks and stuff like this have to be at a much higher volume than the actual programming.

Well, at least one Wing appears to be staying.

Debrincat signs a deal for seven years, $91 million.

Is this on ESPN+?

Should be noted that Hakstol's departure is mere weeks after Bednar's extension with the team was announced. I'm guessing he might've been hanging around to see if there was a chance he could get the big chair, kinda like that one deadbeat cousin who suddenly shows up at Grandma's house when she's ...

Avs in Dallas tonight, Hakstol is out for the morning skate, Cale Makar is not, and won't be playing. He's back home with his wife awaiting the birth of their first child.

Matt Duchene will not square off against his old team, he's out for an extended period of time after core muscle surgery.

All but confirmed Hakstol will take the job at ASU, whose rink happened to be the final home of the Arizona Coyotes.

Avs turning now to former Av Brett McLean (also not officially confirmed) whom I was a big fan of way back when. Brought aboard as more of a depth center to just take draws, the Avs ...

Terrible news: RJ Mitte, who portrayed Walter (Flynn) White, Jr. on Breaking Bad for its entire run, dies at 34. No cause has been disclosed.

May you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

We'll be busy celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Brutal weekend. Avs come back home and drop a stinker against the Maple Leafs 6-3. Last time I checked Willie Nylander was still scoring and is now up to 25 points in this game alone.

The two biggest and most obvious problems were between the pipes at one and and on the power play at the other ...

Damn. Malinski was a healthy scratch.

Bednar REALLY didn’t like that play that led to the Jets goal!

Avs didn't play great but it didn't matter, they beat the oh-shit-they-really-are-THAT-bad Calgary Flames 7-3.

Logan O'Connor was reportedly slated to play in this one as he, like Cale Makar, is a native of the Calgary, Alberta area, but his father Myles, who was a journeyman pro player himself ...

Legendary NFL coach Mike Ditka, 86.

Those 1985 Super Bowl Shuffle Chicago Bears were legendary. It was the first time really I watched a football game…login to view the rest of this post

I had no idea, but Romanov left the Ranger game. His season is over. Torn ACL. So much for that LD depth.

I hate to be rude because he obviously does not deserve to have two seasons taken away from him due to injury, but IMO the Isles are better off without him. He is, stat-wise, the single ...

Jack Hughes is such a little bitch, he got all mad about a rinkside reporter making reference to plastic cutlery since he missed a huge amount of last season after injuring himself at a team dinner. So after the Mammoth took care of the Devils the Utah social media team posted this masterpiece ...

Seattle is so effing irrelevant I completely forgot about Lane Lambert.

Avs, one of the last undefeated teams left (mostly because they've only played two until last night) lose to the "red hot" Jets in Winnipeg, 3-2. Started out great, peppering Stuart Skinner with all manner of shots, then kinda petered out as the game went on. Avs had two pretty bad defensive ...

Screen legend Eva Marie Saint, 102!

Damn. Should've included Tocchet on this list. Three games in, second-worst goal differential in the league at -12!!!

Hell yeah, Lanterns absolutely stuck the landing the other night. It was so good it made me wish the comics had done it that way as well.
