Re: The Baby Canucks Thread

He comes with some warts though. He can't seem to get his shit together enough to play half as well during the regular season.

Really shocked Boeser re-signed with Vancouver. Maybe the most shocking event in the offseason thus far.

Extreme plot twists are never a bridge too far for this club... ever... Just read today that the rumoured "Brown slept with Maclean's wife" was just another vicious rumour to hide the truth ...

Foote is named HC (right call, imo, Manny needs to finish strong in AHL even at the risk of losing him; Footer built this d for the most part).

Re: Canucks, woulda, coulda, shoulda 24-25

I share your concern for Petterson's lack of speed. He's just not getting into the open spaces, and making room for his linemates or plays with his footspeed. The shot might be there but he takes far too long to set up and he's just so hesitant most of the time, you can actually see the gears ...

Re: Canucks, woulda, coulda, shoulda 24-25

Been hearing and reading the same things. Sucks about Podz but I think he just doesn't have the skill to displace any of the wingers ahead of him on the roster, but being lined up with Connor McJezus can make up a lot of that deficit. So good for both teams to find a win-win.

Really pleased to see ...

Agreed. Great middle 6 guy but I don't know how much he has left in the tank after being on LTIR these two years or so... Was great on Horvat's wing and backchecking presence...

I was all in on the Panthros so as is typical of my teams in the final, they blew chunks the entire way... Good on the Knights - they were easily the better team overall - too much speed, skill, and defensive acumen for the Cinderella 8th seed.
