Damn you Ryan O'Reilly! :argh:

Yup. I actually did an about-face with him last season, but it's clear he's simply too old-school for the NHL anymore. Nash was the only guy buying in and still putting forth an honest effort. The rest of the team flat-out quit last night, and Voracek and Brassard checked out about the same time Filatov did.

I'm betting unless he refuses Kevin Dineen will be installed behind the bench this offseason. Tyler Wright likely also has a promotion of some kind in his near future.

He did last a long time in Dallas, 500 or so games.

252 games with Philly.
282 games with Columbus.

So yeah, about every 4th season. That seems like longer than average for a lot of coaches? He may wear out his welcome, but he's certainly no Mike Keenan.

He's strictly a pre-lockout coach. His methods are of a time long passed.

So, Gainey's going to hire him to work with his Olympic buddy Martin, then? :fffffuck:
