Well ..... we have the draft to look forward to Old Sport!

Here's the rankings as of today ..... Until then, we have to wait for the Hockey News Draft Preview.

Yes sir we do. Unfortunately Calgary seems to be screwing up the positioning with all of this winning. I see the official number is 90 for your Leafs. DET and CLB both with 4 games left. We should discuss your Leafs elsewhere....they were most disappointing this year.

Eh, they just need to tank next season. We'll see if Burke's pride allows him to do that though.

Calgary has been one of the best teams in hockey since the Olympic break. I think these guys are going trend upwards! Burke certainly wanted to show the Leafs a thing or two when they were in town last week:

Are they seriously gonna burn a year of Johnny G's ELC so he can play one game this year!?

Jonny G scores the lone goal in a stomping from the Canucks.

And then there was this.....

Byron gets tossed to diffuse the situation in a meaningless game.

Overall pretty much what I expected.......no expectations and the cupboard was bare.

Obviously Mike Camallerri won't be back at his cap hit. We'll probably say goodbye to Joey Macdonald and Chris Butler.

I wouldn't expect that it gets any better next year either but I am ok with that. They competed hard after the break.

Maybe they will take some of that money and go get Evander Kane.....

Someone needs to explain to me why Burke...oh, sorry, Tree-living, chose not to even qualify T.J. Galiardi. He certainly passed the "eye test" IMO, and his WOWY don't seem to contradict that.

Decent bottom-six forward who can play all three positions and would've only cost a little under $2 million to qualify. But hey, why do that when you can pay $3 million for Deryk Engelland?

I am not even sure those old boys are going off of those numbers. I think its just perceived truculence.

Gally has truculence to spare...and supplements that with actual hockey ability. But whatever, maybe he'll end up in Buffalo since his favorite former coach is there in Joe Sacco /sarcasm

I think we need a Monahan Wood Thread. 29 goals at 19. Top 10 in the NHL.

Pretty good article on why in retrospect Feaster was better than given credit for.
